Fall Classic 10k (Canton, MA)

I think I feel equally tired after running the Canton Classic as I did riding D2R2. What an amazing event though. This was my first foray into the world of road running. The atmosphere was friendly and there was a ton of free food and swag. I'm especially thankful that the race was postponed from last week. I can't imagine what the roads would've looked like covered in snow and ice. It would've been unsafe to say the least.

I placed well overall, considering that this was my first foot race. I was surprised by how many people I was able to pass at the start, but I sort of paid for it later in the racd. There's something to be said about starting strong, because if I had held back early, I wouldn't have been able to catch up. Just like biking, I did my fair share of drafting people on the flats. Awesome experience overall and I can't wait to race again.
