Tiger Turkey Chase (Easton, MA)

While it may seem that I've been remiss in posting, I've actually been quite busy enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. Thus, I have a few things to share.

Prior to stuffing my face with mashed potatoes and turkey, I ran a 5 miler over at Oliver Ames in Easton. The Tiger Turkey Chase was only my second foray into road racing. Compared to the 10k that I ran earlier in the month, the pace was a lot faster. I think the combination of more people and a shorter distance made the competition stiffer. While I enjoyed myself, it was definitely a fast race. Overall, the atmosphere was great and the people were super-friendly. Highlights included school cafeteria bagels and several thirteen-year-old children beating me to the finish line.

A couple weeks back, I went for an epic mountain bike ride around Middleboro and Lakeville. Here are some pictures from that foray.
