In mid-April I had the opportunity to take a road trip up to Ayer for a conference. While I was there, I checked out the Nashua River Rail Trail. I hadn't heard any reviews of the trail so I decided to experience it firsthand. Much like the Cape Cod Rail Trail, this multipurpose bike path features a typical two lane traffic pattern. Like other rail trails, it's extremely flat making it ideal for family outings and leisurely riding. I snapped a few photos along the way.
Overall Rating: 4 Stars
Highlights: Great scenery along the way; much better than The Minuteman. It also seems like there are some interesting off-road segments along the way. Perhaps a great place for a MTB or hybrid?
