Well, I promised an update, so here it is!
I went out on two exquisite road rides through the heart of Cranberry Country this weekend. You'll see a map of the route I followed below:
The views were stunning to say the least, especially on Saturday morning when many of the trees at peak turning dropped their leaves in the calm breeze. At times, the leaf drops were so heavy it felt and sounded like snow. If you get a chance to follow this route please do so, especially near France St. in Middleboro.
On Friday, after work, I found a nice 15 mile loop that I'll be using as the basis for an epic XC ride. It passes by/through Pratt Farm, Rock Village Preserve, and Frederick Weston Memorial Park. Stay tuned for a map and some pictures to follow. Now is a great time to begin exploring the woods as the mosquitoes and horse flies slowly relinquish their reign.
