Assawompset Pond Complex (Middleboro-Lakeville, MA)

I really wish there was a way to map my off-road rides. I suppose if I had a Smart Phone it would be possible, but alas, I'm stuck in the aughts with my flip phone. Anyway, here are a few photos from today's ride. It was amazing to find so many new double-tracks around the APC. Riding this area during the summer can be dangerous because of the mosquitoes and horse flies. Luckily there was a hard frost followed by some great 60 degree weather which takes us up to today.

Sometimes, people just live in the woods.

Some sweet carriage roads border the ACP.

Eerily vertical tress.

Some excellent fire roads too.

A secret beach! Seriously, I had absolutely no idea this was here.

Actually, pretty nice looking.

Ol' Faithful contemplating the beauty.

Ol' Faithful rolls around in leaves.

Premium double-track.

M-13 to M-15 is probably the smoothest.
