For years I scoffed at suspension seatposts and their false cushioned promises. They seemed cheap and gimmicky. "Why not get a full suspension frame?" I would ask people. That was all until my back started to hurt after double mountain biking sessions. Anything over two hours would really wear me down. So, I finally caved in and coughed up the $130 for Cane Creek's Thudbuster LT. After reading several reviews online I determined that this would be the best route for a quick fix. Surprisingly it was. After a painless install and a mere twenty minutes of fine tuning, I became a convert to the ways of aftermarket upgrades. While my initial test was a short loop around the block, I felt an immediate difference even when hopping over curbs, potholes, and barriers. Definitely a product worth buying if you find your back aching frequently.
